A question that often occurs in some peoples mind is: Why am I sweating so much? Suffering from excessive sweating is a situation that millions of Americans and people world wide are suffering from on a daily basis.

There are probably around 10 million Americans today who suffer from excessive sweating. The number is probably higher since many won’t even tell their doctors about the issue. The number is also growing on a regular basis causing more people to find themselves with wet armpits when there really is no reason for it.

There are several reasons for why the sweat problem is growing. One is the lack of research in the area. Excessive sweating is not looked at as a serious problem enough to do research on.

The second biggest issue is our lifestyle. The food we eat has a lot to do with it as well as the lack of activity in a normal American person’s life. The lack of activity and the excessive fat, sugar and salt we eat on a regular basis increase the level of fat and it gets harder for the heart to pump our blood around.

A different important modern problem is all the different cosmetic products we use. Soaps, deodorants, shampoo, body lotion. Many of these contain toxins and bacteria that irritate the skin. One of the most important jobs of our sweat glands is to help control our bacteria level.

If we want to reduce the level of sweating we experience every day it is necessary to look at alternative methods for hygiene as well as our diet and our activity level. By getting rid of the bacteria and toxins stored on our bodies and allowing the blood to flow smoother through our bodies we are closer to a more sweat free lifestyle.

Once you get past your excessive sweating problems you will notice that life is more giving and enjoyable. You will feel freer since you do not have to think about how much you sweat all the time. You have removed one of your worries from your worry list.
